The NinerScholars Portal is UNC Charlotte's scholarship management system that provides students access to more than 1,800 scholarship opportunities, with one application, through one online system.

 New freshman and transfer students must be accepted to UNC Charlotte and activate their NinerNET account before they can access NinerScholars.

 Currently enrolled students may login to the NinerScholars Portal as soon as it opens (Late October), using their NinerNET username and password.

 New freshmen and transfer students enrolling for the spring 2023 semester must wait until the first day of class in the spring term to login to the NinerScholars Portal. This will ensure you’re matched with the correct scholarships.

 New freshman and transfer students who have not activated their NinerNET account, should locate their NinerNET username in the top right corner of their admission acceptance letter, and click here. If you have already activated your NinerNET account, but forgot your NinerNET username or password, request it here.

All scholarships at UNC Charlotte must be applied for through NinerScholars. Students are not considered for scholarships through the admission process. Once admitted, students must create their profile and complete the required application materials in NinerScholars to be considered for a scholarship.
