Alan Kulwicki Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship was established to provide financial assistance to students pursuing study in Motorsports Engineering and in memory of the 1992 Winston Cup champion who was the first college graduate to win the Winston Cup but was killed in a plane crash on April 1, 1993. Alan Kulwicki was an exceptional professional and a person dedicated to both the education of the mind and the maximization of physical performance as evidenced by his racing skills. He was a mechanical engineer as well as a winning driver, and was an inspiration to many.

This scholarship was made possible by the generous contribution of The R. J. Reynolds Tobacco Company.
