Piedmont Carolinas Section ANS Scholarship

This fund was established to award scholarships to UNC Charlotte students pursuing a degree in the College of Engineering with a concentration in Energy. Preference will be given to applicants who have participated in undergraduate research, commmunity service, or leadership activities, or students who have shown an interest in nuclear technology.

This scholarship was made possible by the generous contribution of The Piedmont Carolinas Section of American Nuclear Society.

Scholarship Criteria

• Eligible Major(s): Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Civil Engineering Technology, Construction Management, Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology
• Concentrations: Energy Infrastructure, Power & Energy Systems, Energy Engineering, Energy Systems, Applied Energy & Sustainable Systems, Applied Energy
• Preference given to students with demonstrated financial need as determined by the Office of Financial Aid
• Junior or Senior
• College GPA = 3.50-4.00
• Preference to students who have participated in undergraduate research, commmunity service, or leadership activities
• Preference to students who have shown an interest in nuclear technology
