Reed Parlier was a kind, quiet, witty young man who attended UNC Charlotte to study IT software development in the hopes of becoming a game developer. A graduate of the Central Academy of Technology and Arts in Union County, North Carolina, Reed is remembered for his generous and loving spirit, contagious laugh, strong connection to his family, and singular sense of humor. This scholarship is being established to honor Reed's life and memory and to mark the impact he had on the UNC Charlotte community. This fund will be administered by the College of Computing and Informatics and recipients who best meet the criteria established by the donor will be selected by a scholarship committee.
